The coolest kid in the roller rink!

Met Quarter certainly did pamper us...

The blog was asked to attend an invite only event in the Met Quarter on Wednesday Night.  The event 'Get Pampered' was organised by the very talented ladies from Carousel PR.. another successful event for them, and included a delightful medley of beauty including  complimentary manicures, massages and skin mapping from Urban Calm, makeovers from Illamasqua and hand and arm massages at Jo Malone. Special discounts were also available on the night from all the stores within the quarter. The crowd included ladies and gentlemen from Liverpool Museum, Malmaison, Tate Liverpool, Tatty Lashes, The Lantern Theatre, FCA Architects, the usual bloggers and press people and many more stylish scousers.

Celebrity stylist Martine Alexander was also on hand with personal style advice and her pick from the collections within the various stores.  Martine has earned an exceptional reputation as one of the North West’s most sought-after and credible fashion experts with an established client base including celebrities and high profile, time-precious professionals.  Her clients include Natasha Hamilton, Liz McClarnon, Michelle Keegan, Paula Lane, Catherine Tyldesley, Samia Ghadie, Jennie McAlpine, Ali King, Michelle Collins, Georgia-May Foote, Fiona Wade, Sacha Parkinson, Tina O’Brien, Gemma Merna, Lucy Dixon and Suzanne Shaw.  Martine was fabulous, she gave us loads of great info about what outfits we should be putting together this autumn and loved the blog.  Watch this space for a future collaboration!  Oh and her neon orange shift teamed with that matte black statement necklace was to die.

Attendees were treated to champagne and treats from Patisserie Valerie and some musical treats for the ears from local DJ Namina.  It was an altogether great night for Liverpool style.
