A week or two ago I had the pleasure of working with the very, very talented people from Glorybox Photography on a project they had organised with the inimitable Resurrection on Bold Street.

Emma Bassnett resident, genius photographer and joint owner of Glorybox had an excellent idea to do a live photo shoot in the window of the iconic store to promote the stores new collections for spring/summer and their VAST collection of FABULOUS VINTAGE which on the day had a whopping 50% off.

Emma from Glorybox was on the camera, styling was provided by myself and Laura S from DiscoFashionArt and the models Kayleigh D and Joseph Francis were from CAST MODELS, I had also brought along the ever gorgeous, independent model Bessie to work her magic.  We also had delectable make up from the lovely Sarah Oates from All Dolled Up....all squeezed in the window together.

Resurrection is to indie chicks what Cricket is to the designer babes of Liverpool, a fashion Mecca! The shop is just the epitome of cool and more like somewhere you want to hang out rather then a shop.  It stocks modern, established labels such as Lavish Alice, Cheap Monday and Carhartt and home-grown, Liverpool designers such as DiscoFashionArt favourites Bite Me Clothing and Enola Rose.

As well as that the shop also has a huge selection of high quality vintage! I would go as far to say the best selection in the whole of the city including the best collection of
varsity jackets and vintage Levis I have ever seen!  Whilst I was wondering round the store picking clothes for the shoot I was in heaven, the place is full of trendy treasures and the staff as well as being the best dressers and walking outfit ideas are also fab and really helpful.

Some of the people passing by were drawn to the window and what was going on, some even had a shock when they seen the models moving about as alot of them thought they were manikins. How stunning is this dolls hair!

I will post the link to the full photo shoot from Glorybox soon. I can't wait to see the final images from Emma.

The event was amazing and at the end of it all I was shattered but completely on a high from working with some truly brilliant people who shared my love and passion for true Liverpool Fashion and innovation.

It was a truely novel and exciting way to showcase both Resurrestions fabulous wares and Gloryboxes cutting edge ideas and talents.

Glorybox are a uniquely talented company and I recommend you take a look at their website below.  They do all sorts of photography from Fashion, Location, Studio, Events and Photobooths.  Their work is ground breaking and I am very proud to have worked with them as I think they are definitely stars of the future, not just in Liverpool but internationally.

This event was just another great example of Liverpool's ever growing, friendly fashion community and a big thanks to everyone involved including everyone at Ressurection and the very talented and very lovely Emma Bassnett.
